I put on weight too. My doctor warned me to watch what I eat. She was right. It took no time at all to slam on 20 pounds.
However...been watching my fat and carbs. been walking and running. It has taken 4 months but I have lost 12 of those pounds.
And it isn't easy. I don't have the same motivation as when I was manic. I could run for miles. literally. I have to work 3 times as hard at getting myself out there to burn off the calories.
But it is working and that is my motivation.
My medication has given me back my life. But the trade off is that I don't get to eat whatever I want to anymore.
It's a great trade.
