I used to think that since I abandoned cursive when I was in high school (couldn't read my own writing) and switched to italic writing instead, that handwriting analysis wouldn't have anything to say about my handwriting, since I had consciously taught myself an entirely new style. Wrong! Graphology is an inexact study, but there does seem to be information one can get from it. I have noticed that my handwriting changes (even using Italic), according to my mood, who I am writing to, what I am writing about,.... If I am really uncomfortable about something my writing gets very tiny. Speed of writing makes a difference too - I can write well enough to be suitable for framing and putting up on the wall when I try, but if I'm taking notes in a class, I still might not be able to read it later on. I guess a relaxed (not rushed but also not painstaking and obsessive) writing speed would say the most about you.
If you want to know more about handwriting analysis, search the web for "graphology." Here's a site to get started with: http://www.paralumun.com/graphology.htm
