Seriously, though, I would not have expected anything else. There are lots of linguist couples, and medical doctor couples, and historian couples... you share a passion for something, and you speak the same language, and you can discuss work in a completely different way than you would be able to otherwise. Of course it's more likely you'd fall in love with someone like that -- even apart from the fact that you are simply more likely to meet up with other people with your education/job.
