ACK!!!!! Dream DIctionary!!! >.<
Shoes are not the journey, but the tools you have (or you need to have) in order to take the journey. The journey itself is the "going somewhere". If you're stepping out and forgetting your shoes, it's typically a matter of feeling unprepared for what you're taking on. The difference between being barefoot and being naked in a dream is vulnerability. Shoes leave you vulnerable to where you walk, but to other characters in the dream you're only hindered, not bare. You say you arrive at the destination without them...and you can't remember where they were left...This is pretty much a reflection in that you have done this before. It's your subconscious telling you that you need to keep better tabs on being ready.
- What are you setting out for in life right now? (This should be something you have either JUST started or are about to start)
- In what ways do you wish you were better prepared for these goals? Are there any ways you can get what you need to move forward?
- What traits/strengths/personal tools have you been neglecting lately (as this is reflected by not knowing where you left your shoes)?
