I used to go to the ER too..but I just got a shot that pretty much either numbed me completely to the world..made me loopy..or knocked me out..and then when it wore off I still had my migraine..so I just quit going..I figured it wasn't worth the money..I saw so many doctors in my day..from regular docs to Neurologists..I even went a saw a faith healer..nothing worked..I took those darn Imitrex shots for years..never worked..saw eye doctors..crap..they got worse over the years..this new drug has been wonders for me..and although it is for epileptics and I am not one..it is now being proven to help for Migraines too..that is why it is said to be experimental..but is now being given out to Migraine patients..I don't know..but maybe since you get them so often per month it might be worth at least talking to your doctor about..I have NO side effects from these pills..not one..although I have lost some weight..but not complaining there..lol..and I no longer can drink alcohol on it..but that is not known side effect..Doctor says that is weird about me..makes me sick to drink..anyways..other than that..I don't even know I take it..
