Hi - I would recommend that you learn as much as you can about how OCD works and find a therapist who practices Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. They should help you with evidence based strategies to overcome your fears.
When a thought is labelled by the brain as dangerous or harmful it is only natural for us to want to avoid association or suppress the thought or image - unfortunately this maintains the cycle. So it is important to label and accept your OCD thoughts as 'That's just an OCD thought' when they occur.
Again a good CBT therapist will help.
