I agree. There are so many things. But if I think I'm following you here, maybe your speaking of a thought that maybe you can't remember but your anxiety got triggered? There are things that our unconscious hides from us. It's a survival technique built into our brains to protect us. But we have a link to it through our senses. I have heard a few stories where people have brought up things out of the blue that they had forgotten until triggered. Of course they don't get propelled into an emotional whirlwind like we do, but it does happen. Sorry if this is off topic
