Isn't it amazing the number of "bad" and/or inexperienced people that are responsible for hiring new employees? Even better, I won't get the job because I'm a threat to the hiring manager or department head! The above scenarios have unfortunately become the fixture to what the job-market has become and it's progressively getting worse. Yes, who wants to hire the person with over 15+ years of experience at 150,000, whereas, the 25 year old candidate can get the job done for 60,000. Well, I've taken a mental beating for the past five years while trying to find a fulltime job and I'm at a point where I'm at a loss for words and help! It's funny how monster.com and careerbuilder.com publish articles from authors who've never been unemployment, yet, they appear to know what it's like to be without a job..let alone they've never the mental affects of being without full-time employment. Can any of you relate?
