You're singing my song. I'm 43, a designated accountant with an MBA. I've been unemployed for over 2 years. And once you start to have a gap like that on your resume, it's not just age, but people start to wonder what was wrong with you, that you couldn't get hired.
I just started back to school to retrain in forensic accounting, in the hopes that that will let me reenter the job market.
