No, that's not what he is saying. In one of his videos that I watched, he said that is how psychiatrists see us. Get us stable and we don't feel highs or lows so we're easier to deal with, but it's not necessarily the best for us.
I'm definitely ordering his book. I can't stand this feeling of the entire world being BLAH.
