I do like political analyses. I do think human interaction is a lot like international relations in a way.

Some time ago somebody posted thread about us being the unlucky few percent. I argued that being born in a world where we don't risk death of cholera, civil wars and such... we are lucky.

I like to think of it as geopolitics. Can you think of PERFECT country which has it all? Italy may have food and sights and nature and hot men... but hell they had Berlusconi. Countries with good climate have usually sucky economy or are situated on faultlines. Countries with breathtaking landscapes have bad infrastructure, because it's hard as hell to build highways in breathtaking landscape...

Maybe being bipolar is like being born in place with bad geopolitics. Siberia. Bosnia. But people do travel to these places... they even sometimes envy their spirit and landscape and how tough those people are.

Maybe some can "immigrate" or change their situation. But maybe not. Countries that undergone transformation to more universally accepted systems always aren't better off and people talk about "good old times".

Maybe I am like a troubled place where tourists flock in summer but wouldn't want to live there forever.

All I know is that I don't judge countries like Bosnia for what they been through. Maybe it's same kinda of screwed upness as I sometimes experience on the inside.
