You know, this is pretty interesting and you can really make this analogy with all illness. But, I think some people do judge other countries based on their issues (like economy, how dangerous they are, etc.)

But I like the idea of thinking of myself as a vast landscape. Over here is the beautiful vista and over there is the swamp land...
