Well, this is only true for some. I supposedly live in the wealthiest nation in the world, yet I have absolutely 0 access to help at this time. And I have a full time job, health insurance, and all of that. But when it comes to my bipolar I
still don't have the financial rescourses to get the help I need in this part of the world. It would actually be better if I were poorer, I could get help. I'm in that middle ground where you're too poor on your own and too rich for help....
But, I think one big thing we are lucky is that it is this day and age, and none of us are going to be locked up for the rest of our lives in an asylum, or have the old style treatments like insulin shock therapy....
And, Venus is right, no matter where you live there are problems. But some problems are worse than others.
