Cocoabeans,I have to say your judgement is very faulty here. I have 3 tattoos plus 8 body piercings and I have had the same job for 3 years now. I have my nose, my belly button, and both my ears are pierced 3 times. Everyone at my work knows about my tattoos and it hasn't affect what they think of how I work. I work very hard. I go into bars and make friends with bartenders not because I am trying to get free drinks but because I am a friendly person by nature. I am in school working to get my degree in Early Childhood education. I have been into a preschool twice now and my instructor said leaving my nose ring would be fine and it was nothing was said about it. Just because someone has tattoos doesn't make them uneducated it makes them creative. I care about fitting in but I also like to do something that makes me happy.If that be getting ink so be it. Like I said I have 3 tattoos and plan on getting more soon.If you knew me you would see that my tattoos are not me not wanting to fit in they are me wanting to expresses myself. Plus one is in honor of my uncle who passed away. The other two are a dolphin on my right leg and two dolphins jumping out of the water with a sunset behind them on my lower back. All stayed covered at work. I also got offered an intership at Disney Land in Flordia and I would of took it had it not been for the money thing. It was a payed one even. Goes to show you that people with tattoos are not uneducated or not always trying to not fit in.
