Hi all. Well the new boss has been with the company for 2 years now. I was pushed down to a position written just "for me" and excelled, using mid-level project management skills in management of auditing schedules. I see the writing on the cubicle wall. Yet I see so much dependence upon my skills that I am ambivalent. No executive support, I kind of lead myself to align and troubleshoot as well as strategize for incoming compliance documentation and audit notification. It is all now in an easy to follow/use technical format. Yet no one else in our department does what I do (or care). I am isolated with cube walls, but make the effort to speak to those I pass on the way to my desk. I love the isolation but know this is one of those "signs" you're on your way out. I produce one report for 4 committees and manage 6 auditors. As I see my surroundings, I want to look for another position but have no idea where to start. What kind of resume to I use - been working for 45 years. I don't want to go the way of the "5 people interview" before taking a lesser job. Anyone have suggestions? Lots of technical and project background, almost completed college, aced several UoP classes, love diversity, self-directed. This will be my first time looking for a position in 14 years.
