Can you start recording your conversations with customer service? I know that really gets the companies goose when you start blogging and attaching the recordings (video or sound files) to your blog. Or, put video on youtube.com
You could blog details of every call attempt to customer service, how long spent on hold, etc. Just keeping a record of you trying to resolve the issue, then later sending a complaint letter with records attached, will give you extra credibility with the company.
