I've been looking for a therapist for me ... with the hopes that my husb will eventually meet with him/her as well. My husb is severely depressed but has 'decided' it's not him but everyone else who has a problem.

Anyway, I found a counselor with potential - the only problem is he doesn't have an office in my area & the office he does have won't be 'remodeled' until October. He says he will meet with me (or any/all patients) at their homes. First of all I can't meet with him at home because husb is there & the therapist & I will need privacy to talk freely. Second, well, this meeting at my home just sounds a bit weird to me.

Anybody ever have the therapist offer to/insist upon a house call?
