I try to apply the 12 steps to all my issues. The last two nights, there has been a tarantula outside my door. So paralyzing was the fear the second night because I was alone, that I was hysterically sobbing on the phone with my boyfriend, and he insisted on coming to my rescue. Until he got there, I hid in my car. I would like some experience strength and hope on how to apply the 12 steps to this irrational fear. I'll be calling my sponsor as well. I posted about this in Anxiety too. I won't be held hostage by this fear, I didn't get sober to live in fear of tarantulas. What say you?
