For 3 years I had random reoccurring dreams. Every dream was different and normal with normal dream scenarios and interactions with people I knew and people I didn't know. Just run of the mill everyday normal dreams. What was reoccurring about these dreams was the interaction I would eventually have with a awful presence I can't explain. I can only explain it's actions. As far as a description of it itself, I can't get my head around it to even begin to try and fathom details of this thing. The best I can do is call it a presence, and a really negative mean evil one at that.
This is how the dream would unfold: while dreaming and interacting with people in a dream state I would notice something slightly different about someone that was in my dream.
The difference was very slight.
It could be the way they moved was a little off or they fumbled with their words.
As soon as I noticed the mistake they made, I would become instantly aware that I was dreaming, that I was not alone and that I need to wake up pronto quick.
I would panic and scream until I woke up.
After waking up and going about my day, I would eventually talk to someone. All would be well until they did something weird that would catch my attention. I would then be aware I was dreaming, and in fact, still in the same dream I thought I had already woke up from, and that I needed to get out quick!
I would repeat this cycle 2 to 4 times in one dream.
The need to escape my dream was because of the overwhelming fear for what was in my dream with me.
Also as soon as I saw the unusual behavior in the person that was in my dream,I was unable to look them in the eyes. My eyes would become very heavy to the point of impossible to open, but only if I tried to look at them after I figured them out.
It was obvious that something unexplainable was in my dream with me, and for reasons unknown, would disguise itself as a person so it could interact with me, but because it wasn't a real person, it eventually messed up its facade. That's when I would notice the mess up and panic and scream myself awake.
I eventually got brave and plain sick of the harassment I was feeling from this thing, so instead of screaming myself awake, I would scream in its direction that I wasn't afraid of it, that I hated it, to f off, and leave me alone.
The only good thing that came from my experience is the ability to wake up while dreaming.Unfortunately the only thing I have been able to do while lucid dreaming is change the color of someones pants and keep myself from falling off a cliff.
I also suffered from night terrors when I was a kid.
I would dream I was almost covered in a web or bees were coming to get me so I would scream 3 times, (according to my mom)then run. Woke up every night standing in my living room. My mom found it quite entertaining.
What do you think these dreams meant?
