It must be hard especially when there are not a lot of facilities for disabled people. We in the US take that for granted. My mother, who had a bad knee, never liked using her cane either. She used to use her umbrella instead but that wasn't very stable.. and I have a friend who uses a 3-wheeled walker. It is so easy to maneuver but it is bulky... Anyways, I am glad you are feeling better.
