I am in a "mood" today. I don't know if it's PMS or being startled out of sleep this morning (PTSD response) or a combo, but I am definitely not making any friends today.

This morning, I was woken up too early, out of a deep sleep and startled awake. I thought I was managing it really well (I even posted about it!).

I managed to go back to sleep and ... I overslept When I woke up, I felt very groggy and out of it. I felt exhausted and totally unmotivated. I made myself get up. I felt sort of drugged actually

I stopped for a coffee hoping it would perk me up...thankfully after about 20 minutes I did (I cannot WAIT to see the kids / baristas tomorrow to ask them if I looked as bad as I felt).

Cut to an hour plus later....

I was stuck in the middle of a traffic jam on La Cienega listening to talk news ... the station's Senior Political Correspondent was having a convo with our Senator (who is also the Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence) regarding the incidents at the Libyan Embassy. Right in the middle of her sentence, the guy CUT OFF the Senator to go to the the traffic report, sponsored by our local grocery chain.

So that was unacceptable to me. I called the station (hey, why not I'm stuck in traffic with no one to talk to) to tell them exactly what I thought about THAT

The guy I was speaking with in the newsroom was so sarcastic, it was hilarious! He was trying to NOT be defensive, he said, "I am sorry if we cut to the dead body on the 405 freeway..." I responded, "I know about it. I have been stuck in traffic for the last hour and have heard about the dead body "every 5 on the 5"" He retorted, "I will be sure to pass along the message to **** (Helton)."



Then, I got to the office, and the prima donnas (women) were just irritating me. One whined about something to me, and I repled, "I am not comfortable with that...I am not going to test the U.S. Government"

Now, she is stomping around slamming doors and being super loud about everything.

I went in to say hello to a couple of female colleagues and one was super "sad" and said she was "sooo tired".

I think, ladies, all the ladies in the office have cycled up!

I feel soooo sorry for the men in the office. They are outnumbered!
