What is your mental health issue? I don't doubt your doctor WOULD declare it a disability. And employers ARE supposed to accomodate employees -- especially if you live in the U.S. Do you live in the U.S.???
Just ask your doctor and see what he says. (Ask your MEDICAL doctor).
