how about play doh - you can even make home made playdoh, finger paints, legos, blocks, build a course for driving toy trucks/cars, coloring, drawing, hide & seek. 2 years old is kind of young to play board games but you might try candy land. Be careful with legos, maybe get the bigger ones that are not a choking hazzard.

My kids loved playing with shaving cream in the bath tub. And it is easily cleaned up. Don't get the kind with menthol .. try and get just plan shaving cream.

Sand is fun - don't know if you have access to an outdoor sand box. Indoor sand might be messy. kids love sand & some water to make shapes - especially if you have toy trucks or bull dozers to move the sand with.

Bubbles - you blow the bubbles and the kids jump and try and catch & pop them.

There are usually great craft ideas in the HighLites magazine - if you don't have a subscription you can usually find these mags in the library. I remember one craft that created puppets out of small paper lunch bags. You decorated them to look like a dog, or a cat, or any animal.

You could start out planning to do one event a day and before you know it .. the kids are being creative and coming up with their own ideas.

Hope this helps give you some ideas for indoor activities for you and your kids.
