Hey Always:

Please do not ever think you are probing! I believe that the more minds come together the better the outcome, so if I can clarify anything just ask!

Here's what's really sad...

The first time she neglected my daughter, she was watching her for my husband and I while we worked (every other day during the week) and my daughter was only a year old.

Since it is my husband's mother, I've always left the confrontation portion up to him. He has always addressed our concerns with her at the time of the incident and then he has reiterated the necessary care that our daughter deserves and she has just done as she pleases. Pretty scary huh??

Well, one thing led to another and over 2 years ago we got fed up with family and decided to move further away (47 miles) from them so as to avoid unnecessary contact. Now wouldn't you think that the distance would make her straighten up so that she'd have a better chance of seeing our daughter and spending time with her? Well, it hasn't!

What is truly frustrating is that she takes better care of her daughters son and as much as I'd hate to believe it, I can't help but think her actions may be as a direct result of her dislike for me. Oh well!

Take Care!
