thanks for inspiring me with that thread of "things not to say to a borderline".

I thought I'd make one to say to borderlines (or, rather, "pwbpd's" persons with bpd)

1) BPD is an illness.

2) You can learn to cope with it.

3) Pwbpd's can live happy normal lives.

4) Not everyone has a bad attitude toward us.

5) If properly educated, professionals and others CAN learn about it and come out of their ignorance.

6) Pwbpd's can love.

7) Some pwbpd's have friends, families, and partners who understand them and love them.

8) YOU ARE OKAY.

9) You are NOT your illness!

10) You deserve to be treated well.

11) You deserve to be taught a new way to live and to heal.

12) You deserve second chances. You deserve to be happy!
