They may re-eval or not, depending on the doctor. If you are worried about running out of the meds, the old doc might be able to give you more refills. In US it's called a triplicate rx, so they have to see you and actually hand you the rx's on paper, can't be called in like most meds. My pdoc used to give me 3 rx's at a time, to cover the 3 months until I see her. It's very understandable that you don't want to run out of the med, or mix up your routine, since you've found one that really works.
