xrainstormx- sorry to hear you feel your parents are trying to mad. As a mother of 4, I'm not always popular in my house because I seem to be the one who keeps my oldest from doing all the things he likes and wants to do but I do worry for him and hope he's making all the right friends. It's all the darned hindsight, I can know see who all the wrong friends were from my younger years.

Having said that, I just hope that my son can see a difference that the reason I prohibit him is because I love him and worry about him. I don't want to see him hurt. Now granted, I don't know you situation and mine could be off completely.

I'm sorry you're feeling alone and don't feel you can lean on your parents. I'll keep you in my thoughts and also, hearing you speak, I'll re-evaluate how I interact with my own son (12 years) to be sure I'm not making him feel isolated.
