Yep. I shake his food bowl at least once a day for the lazy bum. He meows at me and leads me to his food dish at least twice a day to show me that he's clearly starving to death when he can see the bottom of the bowl.
He tries to make a run out of my apartment when I come home every day. If I go to take out the garbage, he runs down the hallway of the building. He refuses to let me use the bathroom with the door closed unless he's in it - and if he is, then he hates me for it. God help you if you eat certain foods and don't share. I never knew cats would go after non-meat items, but there you go. Catnip doesn't make him happy, it makes him even more bitey. I have a very bitey cat - probably due to the fact he's front declawed.
He's also scared of my rabbit, Esther. Then again, every single cat I've petsat has been scared of my Esther Bunny.
My cat is pretty much evil, but he comes when he's called, he understands the "treat bag" noise and we've got an understanding about him not being on my kitchen counter. Beyond that, it really is his house. Lazy bum.
