Keep seeing the counselor it takes time. So do meds. Not what anyone wants to hear. It can and will get better if you stick with it.

Pat yourself on the back for reaching out for help. Try and cut yourself some slack. Do something nice for yourself.
I'll try asking to see the psychiatrist again tomorrow. Maybe seeing a psychiatrist for the second time will work.
