Hi kris - to quote Jane Eyre; beauty is of little consequence. The old saying that whats within is what really matters is an old saying because its true - you could be talking to the most beautiful person in the world and their looks won't matter a jot if they are utterly vile and heartless. Im sorry if this doesn't make you feel any better but im not sure if ugliness even exists really - we all have attributes which we can either choose to play up or let us feel down. And so what if you were as beautiful as you wanted to be? I guarantee that in time you'd feel that some things could be improved or changed - we live in a society that conditions us to want the unattainable whether we are explicitly aware of it or not. But perhaps the most important thing to bear in mind is that looks don't last - whats the main ingredient that keeps couples together or friendships intact? personality, common interests - love. Love never discriminates, all of us find beauty in different things, its one of the few human experiences we all share regardless of what the mirror shows us. I wish you all the best.
