My grandmother had all the symptoms of BP1, my mom was a workaholic always with a smile on her face though dad´s an alcholic and emotional abuser... Mom never got DX but I would say she is BP2 and I am BP1.
It´s genetic and as we speak they are trying to figure out which gene is to blaim.
