I regret I had that mindset, but for many years, I just wanted the bigger and better, and "lusted" over big homes! Now...LOL, I just want convenience, a cheap and clean small space! I have friends who are still obsessed, who are slaves to their property....who spend all their free time on improvements, cleaning, and acquiring! This seems to be the trend. I'm so glad to be free of it! I have just a small box house, built in the early '60's, which has been a real "fixer-upper," and even that's too much for me lately. I'd honestly be okay with a small spare room for sleeping, a place to keep my pets safe, and a space for working on my art.
