It happened to me on I was inpatient. Might be a slight hallucination. Might be reality. In my case, was definitely a slight hallucination, but I have heard that hallucination from sensory "underload" can happen to everyone. In the hospital I was locked up without fresh air for weeks and definitely had a sensory "underload".
