Don't even THINK you're giving up on anything. We've PAID INTO this system for many years, and now that we need it, we should be able to draw on our OWN ACCOUNT.

The application for disability is a real pain, but go for it!!! You'll have alot of forms to fill out -- in fact, I've heard that you don't have to be denied once before you can get an attorney for disability. You can get one the first time. So why not hire one on contingency? That's where you do NOT PAY HIM -- he gets his fee from your back wages. He can't take more than 25%. So talk to a disability attorney in your area, and let HIM fill out the paperwork for you. It's MUCH EASIER and you WILL get approved, whereas if you do it, you'll get denied!!! Everyone does the first time -- unless you have an attorney!

So give it a try. I wish you the very best! God bless and keep us posted, ok? Hugs, Lee
