Trust me when I say that your therapist will *NOT* see you as a bother at all. I used to think that too, but she actually wants to hear from you, even if they are just little updates. I think it would be super helpful, so that she can better help you, if you let her know that you are struggling with SI thoughts and that you need someone to talk to when they become overwhelming. That's what she's there for, to help you grow and to talk things through. She would rather hear your struggles and know what is happening so she can guide you through it, instead of being stuck in the dark, thinking everything is okay and that you only need her once in a long while. I was like that at first, until she made a comment why I was spacing my appointments so far apart when it was clear to her that I needed more help than I was allowing myself to take.

Trust me; your happiness and health are SO worth it, and she wants to help you get to a good place.
