"needs" is another word im not a big fan of. They told us in primary school that the only needs people have are food, water and shelter. Now the system has changed. Now suddenly the whole population is full of people with 9999 needs! Its like the whole world has been watching too much Oprah and Dr Phil! So that is why I don't like that word. :P
