have watched my little man as he grows...along with console me, give me great advice, lend some strong shoulders, etc., I want to give y'all an update.

He starte head start pre-school next week. They're so detailed and care so much! We talked about the separation anxiety that he's showing, and understand the reasons behind it. They said I could stay all day, every day, if he needed that until he was comfortable. I told them it wouldn't take that long as I'm looking forward to "me time" too much...LOL.

Because parents live in a different city, they even brushed some stuff under the rug to let him attend locally. I just really like them. I plan to volunteer on a regular basis.

He's growing like a weed, and sharp as a tack. I'm just so proud of him. I'll post an updated pic soon. He's very secure in his little world with "mom and papaw". He has his own room, t.v., dvd player, computer, etc. He works the computer from start-up to get to his dora site and totally manipulates it on his own!

He knows all of his ABC's and knows his 123's to 13. He recognizes his name and several of his letters. He's now beginning to want to write his name and made his own "D" today.

We got him his first pet...a bunny named casper and I'm proud of his gentleness with him.

Things couldn't be better with "our" little man.
