But Why? Why be your own friend?-- Self Loving gets us further than self loathing (that is going off your first post and I think the but why... sorry if not.)
as far as your past being everyone's enemy... Your past is your past-- try to make amends with who you can and with in yourself--
I will not sit and say that all amends will be taken by ALL others, but some will, the probability of that is there... and you don't know till trying with that... And it is a key thing to learn if others can not accept that the past is the past...
If Others Can NOT accept that Your Past is THE PAST, and that You have moved Forward (even if it is a little or even if it is a lot!) then they can be a part of your past...
The past is not something to beat yourself up over

I know I have trouble with that myself-- But focus more on Who You Are Today.. Where You Have Grown As A Human Being..
Not to sound like -- "look out for number one (you)", but this seems to be distressing you--
If you have tried to make amends, and it has not worked with other people accepting that-- well that is just how they feel, and you have tried to make amends to them. Don't beat yourself up for them not accepting apologetic, explanations, etc. from you
Our pasts help us learn, we grown from past experiences as best as we can...
Some past things are hard to "get over" (i hate that phrase but it is commonly used) but WE DO Learn from them, we take what we can...
Many Hugs to you
I hope some of what i wrote -- has helped just a little
