Whenever I get manic my writing get HUGE. I take notebooks and write my thoughts and ideas on every single page along with doodles and drawings. I draw and paint really really well when manic, I always surprise myself when I look at the drawings post mania lol.

And like blue, I definitely tear or burn up all of the pages. Burning is good, its a ritual and feels more permanent.

The funny thing is I never journal when I'm not manic. I'm gonna start.
I also draw and paint well when manic. and blog like a mofo. My writing is almost unreadable when I am racing, though- I can't seem to write as fast as the words come into my head.

Tall- this is gonna sound kinda stupid but have you tried coloring? Like, with crayons. Seriously, it is some good therapy when having a hard time with words. If you don't have a coloring book, just use some paper-I used to do it on old bills or scratch paper even. Sometimes it just feels good to push hard and scribble.

hope you feel better soon...

be gentle with yourself.
you are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
