Ugh, that's a tough one......do you have any turtle necks & a blazer that you could wear with the dress pants? The nicer cardigans would work well also.

I know that I feel better wearing pants than dresses when they comment on business attire but that's because I worked as an aerospace engineer for 15 years with mostly all guys & my business dress was always pants & pants with jackets when I made presentations to the military.

They always came up with the comment on how to dress before our big meetings & because I was the only female, they never said anything but suit & tie.......so I bought several really nice pearl ties that I wore with my suits so they couldn't say I didn't meet the dress standard......it got lots of positive comments.......& it worked for me because it kept them looking at me as one of the guys in my own way.

Business attire has such a wide range of possibilities now, its really much more difficult to define what they mean by it......so I would say....wear the best cloths that you have that fall into the professional looking category & I'm sure you will do just fine.
