I was surprised at how many people shop at the Goodwill stores here.......we were all there as a meeting place for our horse group one day & my friend who has lots of money found a really good looking blazer for about $5. She's small like I am, so it's even more difficult to find cloths that fit. We were surprised because there were a large selection of blazers for even more than next to nothing.

I do understand not even having an extra $1 to spend however....that was where I was that day & just had to watch while everyone else bought......I definitely understand your situation....& in that case, all you can do is use out of your sweaters as a jacket & wear a blouse under that with your nice dress pants. No one will even notice I'm sure.....it's just a way of telling people not to come in sweats or cutoff's & grungy cloths.
