I had awful akathisia on high doses of Seroquel, but not on low doses. It also did not work for me as an anti-manic agent, but it sure helped me sleep soundly. I read here on this board that people take as little as 50 mg for sleep and are happy with the results. I wonder if it loses effectiveness over time. I have seen Trazodone and Benadryl and Temazepame lose effectiveness, but was thinking that perhaps anti-psychotics do not lose effectiveness.

Will appreciate opinions from long term users.
