this is my first time on here so just wanted to say hi and tell you about my situation (am havig a bad day today so ignore the rant!)
i am 19 and have always lived alone with my nan who is 68 we found out in february that she has terminal lung cancer and i have somehow become 1 of her main carers. touch wood she is doing okay at the moment (even though they only gave her 6months) but i am still finding it a bit difficult to cope.
i have got depression and am on medication for that. i have also been self-harming for a while and am (Hopefully) getting support with that through my doctor and a counsellor. i had been working part-time but have been signed off for 3 moths...am going back in 2 weeksand am SOOO scared about it. i just dont want to leave her. i hope that doesnt sound stupid.
has anyone else had any experiences with lung cancer that they are willing to share? because im willing to except help from anywhere at the moment!!
