My daughter needs to take that stuff when she's been on antibiotics. The pediatrician told me to by the kind that is kept refrigerated in the pharmacy. It isn't a prescription, you just have to ask the pharmacist for it. It comes in a little box with 15(?) little packages of powder form acidophilus. Very effective stuff at helping the digestive tract!
