I think my past Ts have always thought I flirt but I just get anxious and laugh at everything when I'm uncomfortable which is usually frequently. To add to that - I talk about sex a lot so my Ts have always dropped little inappropriate jokes once in awhile just to lighten the mood, I'm a real joker and I turn my Ts into jokers. We always had a good time though, I think most of my Ts found me entertaining because the majority offered to see me more than once a week.

Anyway, I don't think flirting is damaging. All fun and games when you spend time and secret sharing with someone.
