I'm glad you stand up for yourself, you've done all you could do and now just wait for the director's action, hope he would really do something, usually a new boss would have all new plans in his head to restructure his department/company, to show his value to the company, so very likely he will do something about it. I had similar experience like you, end up I just handed out my finished works to the others directly instead of my supervisor, let others know that these were MY works, not hers. In the end they just skip my supervisor and directly give me works Keep us post how it ends.
