Hi,
I am a former elite athlete struggling with over eating. I've gained about 40 pounds over the last year. It fluctuates as I diet and eat again, but I have made some progress in losing it..
I eat because I get lonely and anxious and bored. The only times I eat more than I should are during the night, and before I go to bed or if I wake up early. Otherwise, I have very good eating habits and I exercise daily.
The over eating is starting to control my life. It makes me depressed and hate myself, which only causes me to eat more. I've lost a lot of good in my life as a result of this over eating which is possibly a symptom of my bipolar.
I was wondering if any of you have advice on this. I take lithium and Saphris and cogentin to manage my bipolar symptoms.
