Just thought I'd remind you of this part. I hope it makes you feel better to remember that.
I think you probably have so much time left that it will seem like practically forever. Like someone said, for an 8 year old thinking about loosing his parents is scary, but he still has 10-15 Years before he's stable enough to live without his parents.
