I actually got hypnotized to quit smoking. I was ready, though. So I do this hypnosis thing and have tickets for a Cubs game 2 days after. It is for a bachelorette party; we rented out one of the rooftops in Wrigleyville- this is all you can eat and drink covered in ticket price. Needless to say I was a little tipsy and had smoker friends there- I didn't even have the urge to smoke.
Now I have a drag or bum a smoke once in a while but have never felt inclined to buy a pack or get back on that horse. Good luck- youcan do it but you have to want to.
btw- your bf sounds like a great guy. Sounds like you know that, though so keep on appreciating him
