HOney, if this was my one chance to make a better life for me.. I would jump at the chance to do it..

I think the freind would also look at it as, hey you are coming back.. right..
You can wriet him letters, you should be able to email him, call him weekly, you wont leave him forever..
And you are not his girlfreind are you?????
you have to also think about you,, not only him.. in this aspect..

What do you want out of your life..
Working for Disney is not as easy to get on as one woudl think.. Take this opp, and go with it, make the best out of it, and make your life a life worth living..
